Guitar Input Jack Wiring Diagram - Jun 29, 2006 · Alright I'm on the last step in my super strat project. Just need to wire the jck and put the springs on the bridge, then she's ready to be strung up. But i'm kinda confused. I'm looking at this diagram. The only thing is my input has three prongs. It was easy enough to identify the ground since it's on top, but I don't know which of mine of the hot.. The standard guitar output uses a ¼" mono jack having two terminals (as shown below) which make contact with the mono ¼" plug end of the guitar cable.
